Please also remember that you loose a little bit of length during the shrinking process, so take this into account when ordering and leave yourself a little extra length. We recognize that HeatShrink selection and quality is just as important as the Cable Sleeving that it is put on. Knowing this we set out to manufacture a line of HeatShrink that would be of equal caliber to our Cable Sleeving and offered in as many colors as possible. ArcticMOD Standard HeatShrink comes in a whopping 9 colors giving you the maximum amount of Cable Sleeving / HeatShrink color combinations possible. Our HeatShrink is offered in 5 different convenient sizes to make size matching as close as possible. Those sizes are 1", 1/2", 3/8", 1/4" and 1/8". Used to bind down Cable Sleeving or loose wires, our Standard HeatShrink will provide a fast and convenient way to manage your loose wiring. Another important quality to our HeatShrink is its strength and durability. We have ensured that ArcticMOD HeatShrink is made to last. Flexible, durable and strong, our HeatShrink will not degrade or breakdown with time and it is made to survive in high temperature environments. Also very important is the shrink factor or shrinkability of our HeatShrink. ArcticMOD Standard HeatShrink shrinks down fast, easily and at a great ratio to give you the tightest fit possible over your Cable Sleeving. A simple product.. yes, but indeed an important one for modders. ArcticMOD Standard HeatShrink has been manufactured under the strictest of conditions and we guarantee its quality and user satisfaction. Shrinking Directions & Advice: For the common user the best way to shrink down ArcticMOD Standard HeatShrink is using a high power blow dryer. In-house we use specialized heat guns to shrink down our HeatShrink, but these guns are expensive specialized pieces of equipment. For home users blow dryers really do work the best. Simply cut your HeatShrink down to size and place it over the Cable Sleeving area or wires that you wish to bind. Turn your hair dryer onto its highest heat setting and blow it over the HeatShrink as closely as possible without actually touching it. You will notice that the HeatShrink does take a few seconds to shrink down in any one area.. and so it is best to shrink it down one section at a time, moving around its circumference slowly. Make sure that the HeatShrink is placed properly before you shrink it down, because once shrinked it is really locked into place and cannot be shifted or moved. WARNING: We DO NOT recommend the use of a lighter or open flame to shrink down HeatShrink. This method will more then likely burn the HeatShrink, Cable Sleeving and wires inside and is definitely not the way to go!
