About AlphaCool Bullseye Fan Mounts: The AlphaCool Cape Bullseye Reservoir looks really amazing when it is mounted in a fan hole. The Bullseye's round profile is really a perfect match to be mounted inside a fan hole.. and thanks to these AlphaCool Fan Mounts, now you can do exactly that! This version of the Bullseye Fan Mount is for 92mm Fan Holes and it is made of a heavy duty steel. The front side of the mount has been lightly brushed to give it a nice industrial look. Installation is relatively simple, just see our instructions below, and you will not need any extra hardware to make this work with the Bullseye Reservoir.. it is made to fit perfectly. This is a straight forward mounting idea, and it looks really awesome.. definitely a recommended way to show off your Bullseye! Installation Instructions & Warning: Please be forewarned that the installation of these fan mounts takes a degree of skill and experience if not to damage the reservoir. You must be extra careful when removing the dome from the reservoir.. as this is when it is possible to cause damage. Before you do anything, first remove all four of the screws that attach the dome to the reservoir. You must use the proper sized Allen Wrench in order to remove these screws without stripping them. The dome secures into the reservoir by passing over a large o-ring.. this of course makes it very difficult to remove the dome once it is installed. The best way to free the dome from the reservoir is by using a very small slotted screwdriver. You must very carefully wedge the screwdriver in between the dome and the reservoir at the point where the screws are located. Take extra care not to scratch the outer surface of the reservoir, slowly push in the screwdriver, and then angle it upwards without turning it to slowly push the dome and reservoir apart. You must repeat this same action around each screw point going around the dome, thus slowly separating it. Once you have separated the dome enough it will be possible to pop it off, but be careful here as well so that the dome doesn’t fall on the ground and get scratched when it pops off. When you re-install the dome also be very careful to line up all of the screw holes ahead of time so not to strip the threads inside the reservoir. DO NOT overtighten the screws! Over-tightening of these screws will strip the threads inside the reservoir and permanently damage it. Remember, you can always tighten more if needed later on.. so be conservative.. let the o-ring do its job! All AlphaCool parts are made to be illuminated! The Bullseye Reservoir in particular looks absolutely breathtaking when it is illuminated with UV light on a UV Reactive Coolant such as FluidXP+. Reservoirs can be lighted by using an "AlphaCool Lighting Kit" and all of the AlphaCool acrylic liquid cooling blocks can be lit up by using "LED-Ready Modules". The AlphaCool Lighting Kits make use of a LED-Ready Module but then add on a 1/4" acrylic plug that can be screwed into an empty port just like a sealing plug.. installation takes 10 seconds!
