Description

Fluid XP+ Ultra Super Coolant with z-7 Non-Conductive 32 oz. Liquid Cooling Fluid (UV INVISIBLE BLUE)

Fluid XP+ now comes in three specific formulas, EXT (Extreme), HP (High Performance) and ULTRA (Top of the Line). HP was formulated to be used in high performance pumping systems with high flow and large size tubing while Extreme can be used in any liquid cooled system. HP has a higher viscosity then EXT, so please only choose HP if you have a high-flow system.

What is ULTRA LT coolant? As the great innovator of the water cooled PC industry now for over 5 years, Fluid XP is constantly researching a way to make a better product for all of our loyal users around the world.

Fluid XP took the Ultra with z-7 concentrated coolant, that was introduced in 2007, which was formulated for experienced water cool PC enthusiasts to customized their coolant per use and made a new formulation designed to be ready right out of the bottle for anyone else.

Ultra LT uses the same ingredients as our regular Ultra except the viscosity is much less so that it will work in any system no matter how small the tubing or how slow the pumping system.

Everything else is the same, still comes in all the great UV and Non-UV colors and has the award winning patent pending z7 additive for biological control and its award winning corrosion protection. Best of all, it is very affordable and safe! Made from Non-Toxic base ingredients it still maintains its Non-Conductive rating that no other coolant on the planet can touch.

Simply put, there is no other coolant at this price which gives you this kind of high performance cooling and features. You may have tried the rest so now use the best!

Fluid XP+ is simply put the most advanced liquid cooling fluid on the market today. This is a sophisticated coolant that has been formulated under the strictest of conditions and is the only liquid coolant in the world that has been truly lab tested as 99.9% non-conductive and safe to use within computer applications. Fluid XP+ is our number one recommendation for liquid cooling systems, it is what the owner of ArcticMOD.com himself uses.. and if this isn't convincing enough please read on..

The History of Fluid XP+
Fluid XP+ was developed by a retired NASA scientist who has over 180 patents to his credit. He engineered it from a deicing formula which they used in aircrafts, later to be used in railroad switches. The first principal user of the formulation in regards to computer cooling was Delphi, in which they used it to cool there super computers. Later, the coolant was reformulated into Fluid XP+ for Integrity PC, to be tested with liquid cooled systems for high-end gaming PCs. It was also used in business workstations and servers which require great amounts of cooling and low maintenance at affordable prices. Since it was first released it has gone through various changes and now is better than ever. Integrity PC has found it to work quite well for its high performance systems and having the other properties it is ideal for home computer or office use.

Here is a list of questions that people have asked the makers of Fluid XP+... this is very informative.

How does Fluid XP+ coolant's electrical conductivity compare with other fluids?
Fluid XP+ is the only liquid cooling product on the market that is truly non-conductive and lab tested to prove it! Conductivity is measured as a percentage of coppers ability to move electrons. The electrical conductivity of Fluid XP+ is 12 MicroSiemens/cm. This equates to 0.000011 Mho/cm. Copper's electrical conductivity is 580,000 Mho/cm, so Fluid XP+'s electrical conductivity is 0.000011/580,000 = .000000000131% of copper. Essentially zero!

Another product is on the market saying that it is non-conductive as well.. but an independent lab test shows that it is rated at 13,000 microsiemens and is actually tested at over a 1,000 times more conductive than water. Don't be fooled, make sure you get all the facts before you just put any old liquid into your water cooled pc.

How does Fluid XP+ coolant's removal of heat compare with other fluids?
The conduction coefficient of Fluid XP is 3.7 Btu-in/hr-ft2-Deg. F, while water conduction coefficient is 4.2 Btu-in/hr-ft2-Deg. F. It is roughly 89% as effective as water. This comes out to a 2-3 degree difference in performance. Water is used as a reference point for all coolants. The benefits of Fluid XP+ over plain water are such that while water will damage your system if spilled on it Fluid XP+ will have no detrimental effects on your system. Please note that the new HP and EXT formulas of Fluid XP+ are now within 1 degree of the thermal transfer of water!

Will Fluid XP hurt my pump?
No. It will actually help you water pumps because part of the make up of Fluid XP is a Glycerin product that will lubricate all plastic parts in your system. Fluid XP+ HP is in fact specifically made to lubricate your pumps components and extend pump life.

What is in the Fluid XP+ coolant?
Fluid XP+ is a patent pending mixture of Propylene glycol, De-ionized water, Glycerin, Keltrol, Benzotriazole and some other proprietary ingredients that are all considered to be food safe ingredients as recognized by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

How often should I change the fluid when using Fluid XP+ coolant?
Fluid XP has a 5+ year shelf life but because of the fact that almost all of the tubing used in water cooled computers has some evaporation (due to the fact of the micro pores in flexible tubing), you may need to add a little after two years. This of course depends on how big a reserve you have.

The ingredients in the coolant slow down the evaporation process but do not completely stop it. We recommend that it should be checked from time to time just to be safe. Under normal use the coolant should not have to be completely drained out and replaced for at least 5 years.

What is the viscosity of this fluid?
At the temperature of 20 degrees C its viscosity is 4.37 centistokes and 2.5 centistokes at 40 degrees C. Simply speaking, it is slightly thicker then water.

What other tests have you run to prove that Fluid XP+ coolant is safe?
The most outrageous test we have performed for Fluid XP+ was we took a motherboard and submerged half of it in a tupperwear tray and the motherboard ran for 6 hours before the test was stopped. The GM of the company even stuck his hands in it before a crowd at the Pomona Computer Expo to show its non-conductivity. He also ingested (not recommended) some to show how safe it was, he is pretty nuts though and he is still alive!

Recently, we had a customer that got a new water block and wanted to install it so he drained out his Fluid XP+ into a bowl while he changed out the block. His pet cat came along and while he was not paying attention had itself a nice little drink of the coolant. It is great to say that the cat is still alive today and has had no ill effects from his little snack of Fluid XP+. Something to think about, just imagine if that had been your pet or even a little child and it wasn't Fluid XP+ but product X! Not a very nice picture.

Can Fluid XP+ coolant be frozen?
Yes, at -11 degrees F. It is noteworthy to mention that the freezing process will not affect any of Fluid XP's beneficial properties.
